Sliding pool cover system It lets you make the most of the space on your property. You can walk on the surface, and the wheels and tracks of the sliding system can withstand a load of 300 kg per m², depending on the type of structure and the number of wheels used. You can therefore place sun loungers or seating on the cover. Alternatively, you can build a simple, lightweight structure that is not designed to be walked on.
For a pool cover you can use the same components as for a sliding track gate, namely wheels, tracks and stops. The wheels and tracks are tested and proven to withstand heavy loads. For example, a single wheel with an 80 mm diameter bracket can support 300 kg.
The cover can be moved manually, or you can use a sliding gate operator.. Choose the operator according to the length and weight of the cover. You only need one operator, fitted on one side of the cover. You can use all the usual controls with the operator as with a standard gate (remote control, switch, Wi-Fi module for remote operation, and more). The operator has all the safety features found on a sliding gate, including the ability to detect an obstacle when resistance increases. The operator stops when it hits an obstacle.. The operator’s force and speed are adjustable.
