DIY folding swing gate
A folding swing gate requires very little space to slide open. It is used where a slope or obstacle begins immediately behind the gate, making a standard swing gate unsuitable because of the clearance needed for its opening arc. It can also be used when you want the motor on only one side of the swing gate.
The folding mechanism allows the gate leaf to fold, and the gate is designed to be automated with an operator. You can use standard types of operators: articulated-arm, linear, articulated-arm, underground.

Two mechanisms must be purchased for a double-leaf gate.. The mechanisms are universal, with no distinction between the right and left sides. The operation of the gate leaves is explained in the video below.
