NICE ROBUS – how to connect a switch (video doorbell, intercom) to the operator

The home video doorbell/intercom is connected to the NICE Robus operator via a voltage-free contact to the SBS input (on older control units, this is labelled P.P.)
After connecting to this input, you need to run the “Recognising connected operator devices” procedure on the Robus. Steps:

Recognising connected operator devices

Whenever you connect, disconnect or change the wiring of accessories on the BlueBUS inputs and the accessory recognition phase accessory recognition phase. The operator will alert you that this procedure needs to be performed by flashing LEDs L1 and L2.

  1. Press the “Open” and “Stop/Set” buttons and hold them down
  2. As soon as L1 and L2, start flashing rapidly, release the buttons
  3. Wait a few seconds until the control unit has completed the device recognition process.
  4. If everything went as it should, the STOP LED should be lit and L1 and L2 should be off. Alternatively, L3 and L4, may start flashing if you have not yet completed the leaf length recognition phase.
