Resetting the NICE ON3EBD remote control
If necessary, if the NICE ON3EBD remote control is acting up or cannot be paired, you can try resetting it.
Also, if you save the NICE ON3EBD remote control to the receiver in bidirectional mode and then delete all remote controls from that receiver, you will probably be unable to pair the remote with that receiver again. With bidirectional communication, the remote control is stored in the receiver’s memory, and the receiver is stored in the remote control’s memory. After the receiver is cleared, the remote control still remembers its “original” pairing with the receiver, so you need to reset the remote control first.
How to reset the NICE ON3EBD remote control
- Remove the battery from the remote control.
- Press and hold the first button (next to the LED).
- Reinsert the battery, keep holding the button, and watch the LED.
- The LED first flashes red, then stays lit red.
- Release the button, then press it once again without holding it down.
- Done—the LED flashes red to indicate that the reset was successful.
