I'd be very happy to share my feedback. In my opinion, the purchasing process, advice, and quality of the components supplied are all excellent. I really appreciate your colleagues' willingness to help me choose the right components for building my cantilever sliding gate. It's a shame I can't fully assess the quality of the components yet, as I haven't managed to finish the gate. For now, I open the gate manually because I haven't connected the motor and photocells yet. Even so, I think the components are very good quality, and I'll definitely be buying some more. For example, a keypad, a chip reader, a key switch, and so on. However, I had to make one part myself—specifically, the top guide for the gate—because the gap between the post and the sliding gate itself is very small. I couldn't find anything in your range that I could use there, but it's a minor issue. If I ever get it finished, I'll definitely send you some photos too. Based on my experience comparing you with your competitors, you're the best so far. It's great that you're interested in customer feedback.

Everything went well, but I found two defects in the 3 m profile. I
wanted to let you know about them, but in the end I let it go... but since
you're asking me for feedback now...

1. This is basically a silly little thing, but it really bothered me: the sheet with
the details was attached to the profile with ordinary clear adhesive tape,
which was very DIFFICULT to remove. After I peeled off the tape, adhesive was left on the profile,
which I had to painstakingly clean off with mineral spirits. While doing so, I was
grumbling about whose idea it was to use that kind of tape. I'd recommend changing the
tape.

2. This seems like a bigger problem, and I was considering contacting you about it, so it's
good that you got in touch with me.
The medium-sized C-profile for suspended gates, called Medio, if I'm remembering
the name correctly, is *not bent correctly*! The wheel spacing doesn't match the
profile, so one of the wheels is in the wrong position. I assume this will
significantly reduce the service life of the wheels in the profile, and the bearing in one of the
wheels will fail.
This seems like a fundamental screw-up, considering that you're a gate supplier
and are selling a badly bent profile. I trusted that you would have things like this
checked... :(

I'm attaching a close-up of the profile. The 21 mm dimension is off on at least those two 3 m
profiles you sent me.

That's also why I expect I'll soon have to order new wheels, since
they don't run properly in the C-profile. The bearings in the wheels are under stress not only
radially, which is what they're designed for, but also axially—and quite significantly... :(

As for the product quality, I have just one comment regarding the
original remote control supplied with the NICE motor, which no longer responds.
The remote's LED just flashes, but the gate won't open. I would like to
ask whether there is any way to get this remote working again, or perhaps reset it

As for the completeness of the set, I only had to buy an additional height-adjustable
motor base. Perhaps it would be worth including this type of base in the

I welded the gate myself at home, using your drawings. The drawings are excellent, and
it's easy to build from them.
The concrete base for mounting the gate rollers can also be prepared very easily according to the
documentation provided. The same applies to the electrical installation and the actual
programming of the system. I also bought a push-button
control from you, which we couldn't be happier with.
Last autumn, I installed another double-leaf gate at my neighbors' place, with a
drive from Rogers Technology, and I have to say that your instructions and the NICE drive
are much easier to use.
To sum up and give you a grade, I'd give you an excellent mark—a 1☆.

Yes, I ordered swivel wheels with bearings from you. They were really great,
apart from one small detail. The recessed sleeve 😬 is great on one hand, but
it wasn't thought through because the gate gets spray-painted and for future maintenance.

I modified them so they could be removed at any time
and so I wouldn't have to mask them off when spray-painting the gate.

I noticed you've added hinges to your product range, which is great, but I
made my own to measure, specially modified and spring-loaded, so I could
make the entire 10-metre gate spring-loaded.

Hello, and thank you for asking. Everything arrived in good condition, as per
the order. It’s been installed since around September. I managed to install it myself using
the instructions. I’m a bit technically minded, and I built the gate myself too. I
used aluminium to keep the weight down; it now weighs around 150 kg, including the guide profile.
I left the drive settings at their factory defaults; they’re fully adequate for our needs.
So yes, I’m satisfied. There are perhaps two things I’d like to
improve. First, the remote’s range is a bit short, around 10 metres, but I can manage with that.
Second, snow builds up on the top of the gate and also covers the end
plates that activate the drive’s limit switches, which causes a problem. I considered
covering them with some kind of strip, but it would all look unacceptable. So
it’s enough to clear the snow off whenever it snows. So in the end, it’s nothing serious. We don’t get
extreme amounts of snow anymore. And, really, the manufacturer would have to make significant changes
to cover it neatly somehow. But, as I said above, thank you—I’m
satisfied.⁶

Many thanks, we’re very happy with the gate. It works just as it should. It was assembled
from the parts you supplied and using the clear instructions. We just had to do a bit of calculating
to work out the construction details. The only thing that could
be improved is the rack that moves the gate, because in winter, when it snowed,
we had to give the gate a little help when opening, as if the motor couldn’t
pull it along. Otherwise, overall, we’re satisfied.

I’m happy with the installation and purchase, and with the gate motor, which to
my surprise is quieter than I expected. So far, everything has worked without any problems.
Although I was initially told that the gate button could be used to
program the pedestrian gate’s electric lock to open, it turned out that this
wasn’t possible, but in the end I don’t consider it a problem.

I have just one comment about the purchase: since the kit was put together for me by
you, I assumed I’d have everything I needed, but in the end I had to
order a few extra items, which delayed the project.

- The gate is 174 cm high, which is quite a tall leaf, but I was advised to get
just one guide bracket, which wasn’t enough, so I bought another one for
the other side of the centre post to secure the gate when closed, since
without it, the gate was very unstable.
- A more serious issue was that for the specified opening width of 404 cm, I was quoted
around 410 cm of rack (I can’t remember the exact dimensions now), which left practically no
clearance at the opening, so I couldn’t install the motor, since you need to leave some clearance on both sides (required to install those sheet-metal
plates
(motor limit switches), but usually a 1-meter length of rack is ordered
extra (at least, that's what the guy who did the electrical wiring told me), so for
your shorter ones, two extra pieces are needed.

In the end, everything worked out successfully, and I'm pleased with the
result. I also appreciate your commitment to feedback and improving your
services. I wish you continued success in your business.

The goods from Brány posuvné.sk arrived quickly, and the parcel contained exactly what I had ordered.

I built the gate myself.

I greatly appreciate the quality technical support available on the Brány posuvné.sk website, so designing the gate was no problem.

With help from friends, I didn't get around to building it until August.

It's a cantilevered, welded steel sliding gate with a 5.5 m opening. (see attachment)

The gate itself is 8 m wide overall.

The moving part of the gate weighs 315 kg.

The gate is set into a hedge, which is still growing. 😊

The gate posts, both the supporting and the stop post (TR. 4HR. 100x100x10), are set in concrete foundations.

I replaced the original top guide with four rubber-coated rollers (or rather, its steel base) with a new, smaller one for aesthetic reasons.

The photos still show remnants of the old steel fence, which is still serving as a safety barrier.

Once the hedge plants have grown, the old fence will be removed.

The gate has no integrated pedestrian gate and is programmed for two different opening positions. So far, it has been working to my satisfaction.

And now for my critical comments:

The closing-position limit switch (fitted to the drive's rack) was poorly galvanized, so after less than six months of exposure to the weather, it has corroded badly (see photo).

I believe this warrants a warranty claim, and I hereby ask you to review it.

The opposite limit switch is still fine.

The self-tapping screws on the rack (and possibly the washers too) are also corroding. Rust is seeping out of the holes where the screws are recessed.

Could you consider using stainless steel fasteners in the future?

Sometimes, during the final stage of closing, when the bearing roller hits the ramp on the lower stop, the drive interprets the increased resistance as an obstacle and immediately reverses the gate. My gate is quite heavy. I would deliberately like to set the height of the lower stop so that, when closed, the gate rests securely on one carriage and the stop. If it remains suspended on two carriages, the reaction forces on them are higher because the distance between the carriages is less than the distance between a carriage and the stop. For the reason above, however, I have to set the stop in a position that causes unnecessary extra stress on the carriages when the gate is closed.

Questions:

Is there a way to reduce the gate drive's sensitivity to resistance when detecting an obstacle, ideally near the closed position?

Would setting a higher gate travel speed change anything?

Would adjusting the ramp shape help—for example, reducing the angle of the stop's ramp surface?

Is it even worth addressing this, or should I just leave the forces on the carriages when the gate is closed as they are? But that would mean the bearing roller would be completely unnecessary.

Finally, I would once again ask you, Ms. Eng. Kožíková, to investigate the warranty claim mentioned above.

I hope this feedback will provide some inspiration for your company.

turned out. I built it myself. The items you supplied, along with the
documentation, were a great help. I had a little trouble with the photocell diagrams.
The newer ones are installed differently from what's shown in your drawing, but the manufacturer's instructions
made it clear. The only extra item I bought for your kit was the top stop. The gate
had a little play at the top (in the wind). I welded the gate together, and the posts
are metal. In terms of appearance, I wanted to keep to the original design, apart from the height and

previous experience.
I would recommend adding an extra kit for anchoring the motor to your range—it’s common for
people to make covers and mounting bases for the motor for aesthetic reasons. The original
supplied plate looks a little “cheap,” and the non-adjustable anchoring to the foundation is not
ideal, especially if you want it to last, as you have to take into account that the
foundation may also shift in 7–10 years.

we accidentally ordered the wrong photocells for the motor with BlueBUS. But they were replaced

I had another project underway, I didn't manage to install the gate.

As for placing the order and having it processed, I am extremely satisfied. From
the clear ordering process to the quick packing and dispatch by courier
(I was pleasantly surprised by how promptly it was handled).
And the delivery of the materials? I checked, and everything I ordered was
carefully packed and delivered.

As for the instructions, I have only been preparing the materials for welding so far. It's great that
you provide a materials list, so I believe everything will go smoothly. The only thing
I'm a little worried about is pairing additional remotes, but I believe that in the end
it'll be a piece of cake.

But I do have one question: I saw that an acquaintance of mine had a holder for
the remote controls. I eventually found one on your website too, but when I
ordered the materials from you, it didn't occur to me to look for one, and ordering it separately now would mean
paying extra postage. So my only suggestion is to offer holders with the remotes,
either as an optional add-on or by including the holder in the remote price and automatically
including it. I believe most customers would be happy with that.

I received all the components I ordered in good condition and to the required
quality standards. I installed the gate myself. It has been working without any problems so far.
The only thing I'd like to point out is the weather. When it's freezing or
snowing, the motor is under too much strain and runs slowly. That's why it's important to clean
the track and rack. It's also a good idea to switch off the motor and open and close the
gate manually to clear the track. Then switch it back on.
I don't know whether it makes sense to send you photos today, since I live in a mountainous
area and everything is covered in snow. Perhaps later, when the snow melts.

I’d be very happy to send you a video or at least some photos of my new gate, but unfortunately it hasn’t been installed yet. The company that promised to do the work for me (pour the concrete counterweight, install the posts, lay the paving, etc.)

had said as early as February last year that they would start my project in early August 2022, as originally agreed—unfortunately, only verbally. In the end, they didn’t get in touch until mid-November 2022.

Unfortunately, by then the weather had turned bad (rain, frost, etc.), and the other company that was supposed to finish my sliding gate by welding it on site refused

because of the adverse weather (they would be welding with an electric arc in damp conditions, which they said could be life-threatening). So perhaps I’ll finally get my new sliding gate this year.

And, of course, last but not least, I didn’t want to leave the property “open” over the winter.

I know I can’t avoid leaving the property open, because the concrete counterweight needs at least 21 days to cure. After that, chemical anchors have to be installed for the second carriage. The first carriage should have threaded rods and a rebar frame set in place while the counterweight is being poured.

Then the gate needs to be finished and physically installed to close off the property.

As for my experience shopping with your company, I can’t say a bad word about it—quite the opposite. Your staff were very professional, helpful, and technically knowledgeable, and I’m extremely grateful to them

and appreciate their valuable advice and information, whether about choosing the drive type, components, and so on.

One thing I’m a little apprehensive about (since I’ll be setting up the 400 motor myself so it works with the remote control) is programming it using the LEDs on the motor housing.

In short, I’d like one button on the remote to open the sliding gate just 1 m with a short press (for pedestrians), and the other button to open it fully (for a car).

Pressing the button again should close it; I don’t need step-by-step operation.

I also found a simple, intuitive programmer on your website: [link removed]

but paying €150 to set up 4 remote controls is far too much of a luxury for a private individual (I don’t do this for a living).

because the parts were heavy and long. I took a day off work
and waited at home for the goods to arrive. I had been told the delivery date by text or email,
though I can’t remember which now. When the goods didn’t arrive and nobody contacted me, I started
trying to find out what had happened. In the afternoon, I found out that the driver couldn’t fit it
in the vehicle!!!
I was furious. He didn’t even call to say he wasn’t coming. That’s unbelievable these days—

Yes, everything was fine: it works, and it was delivered properly and on time. The set I bought was supposed to include everything needed. During installation, I found that the end stops and their brackets were missing, so I had to order them separately afterwards. (The set did include a lower end stop, but it had no mounting holes, so it was no use to me.) However, I also accept that I overlooked this—the product description on the website was correct.

I previously bought a NICE motor and sliding gate components from you, and that went well too.

I’ve attached photos. The components I bought are great—much larger than I expected, but robust.

I was a little confused by this table on your website when I was building the gate. It says that when using three carriages, the middle one is under more stress than either of the two outer ones. I don’t think that’s how it works; the gate would have to be very flexible and bendy for the forces to be distributed that way. But maybe I just don’t understand it :)

I still need guide rollers and a stop; I’ll have to order them and finish the job.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m very satisfied with the products, as
everything was ordered and arranged within a short timeframe, since I’m quite
busy with work abroad. I bought the gate second-hand
from Poland, and all the components fitted perfectly. The manual included with it was
well put together, although I would have appreciated a few more illustrations
about installing the gate and building the concrete foundation (especially for less experienced
people who don’t do construction work). This wasn’t a problem for me,
as I’ve worked in civil engineering and steel structures for many years.
The only thing I had to buy elsewhere was the upper gate guide, which had
a specific size. Overall, I ordered from four different shops a guide
roller in a non-standard size, since the gate was second-hand.
I don’t see any problem with that, though, because if I decided to build
a gate at home, I’d first buy the materials and then start making it,
using components from the complete range you offer. Of course, I’m attaching
photos of the project, from the beginning through to the gate being fitted.

To give my review some context: [personal information removed]. We bought a ready-built house that didn’t have a gate that matched my
expectations. So I started looking...
I contacted a locksmith to see if he could help me, and he said, “Sure, no problem.” He took
a deposit and... went bankrupt... I had to reclaim my money. Of course,
I managed to get it back.
My wife said I should contact a larger company that works with steel, so I
did. The company has a turnover of over €1.5 million, so I thought they’d be able to do it without
any trouble... I drew everything for them (I do know what a dimension is) and explained how
I wanted the gates to open. I dealt exclusively with the managing director. Once,
they came back to take a few more measurements, and the preliminary estimate was €6,500 (just the steel
and welding, without installation or motors). They said they had a supplier who only works with
high-quality Italian motors, and that I should have “three grand” (€3,000) ready, because
“you know, quality...” To this day, I still haven’t received an official quote.

At that point I got angry and told my wife I’d call Yuri, a Ukrainian
man we’d already welded a kennel with (for our 85 kg Caucasian Shepherd), and that
we’d make the gate ourselves. I bought an electrode welder at OBI (€200),
ordered the steel (€1,500) and got to work. In four full days, we
welded the gate, took it to be galvanized (€630), and started installing it.

Before that, I’d looked online for a supplier who could provide a motor and
accessories. I was deciding between you and KOVIAN. I thought about it and looked at
the websites. I couldn’t make up my mind... For every one of your motors, I found
a motor lifespan chart—no claims like “the manager says a Nice 400 motor will do the job; it
has to be able to handle it.” I also called your colleague on the phone support line. He was friendly and
knowledgeable, and above all, he didn’t try to push some other product on me. I decided
on the Nice Robus 1000 myself, because I want it to last as
long as possible. The gate is 4.3 x 2.5 m and made entirely of steel. The frame is 100x50 mm, 3 mm thick, with
80x5 mm steel slats for the infill. The gate leaf weighs 600 kg.

I wanted to explain what led me to buy from you.

As for installation, everything was fine except for the wiring. I didn’t understand it. I called
my electrician and asked him for help. He also didn’t know exactly how to
wire the motor. In the end, we called a man who sells and installs NICE motors
himself. He came, grumbled that he sells them too and asked why I hadn’t bought from him
(because he’s expensive), then wired it up, took €100 and left.

You sell components to ordinary people, who find the prices charged by gate
companies outrageous... Your business works on the same principle as a self-service car wash:
I can drive through the automatic wash for €4, and the brushes clean the dirt off my car. But when
you use a self-service wash, you can spray the wheel arches, wash the floor mats, and
apply the wax properly... and in the end you spend €12 and feel satisfied
because you washed it yourself...

I think it would be great if you had a technician who could design and wire
the gate’s electrical system and pair the remotes so everything worked as it should.
That would be great. Even if he’d charged me €200, I’d have gladly paid... Because I know
I didn’t pay an inflated price for the motor, and I made the gate myself...

This could be a way to improve your services. The average Slovak can
make a gate themselves, but not everyone knows how to wire an electric motor—

I’m happy with both the purchase and the delivery of the components. I do have a criticism of the manual, specifically regarding the concrete foundation: I followed the instructions exactly. The gate was too far from the fence it slides along, so I had to modify it afterwards, since I had set the threaded rods directly into the concrete foundation when pouring it. According to the manual, the mounting plate should be 8 cm from the fence, which is too far, since the mounting plate is wider than both the C-profile and the gate itself. Another problem arose from positioning the mounting plate 8 cm from the driveway opening. I poured the concrete foundation up to the end of the fence, that is, to the driveway opening. However, when I fitted the lower roller into the C-profile, I found that this clearance was also insufficient, because the gate does not slide fully open and reduces the opening by about 15 cm. I had to solve this by cutting off part of the bracket holding the roller to shorten it. I then had to weld it to the C-profile because cutting it meant I could no longer screw the roller onto the C-profile. I didn’t move the mounting plate farther from the driveway opening afterwards because I was afraid to drill there, as I had prepared for an electric operator and buried the electrical cables in those locations. I would suggest including guide rollers for the gate stop in the kit, because the hook lock’s latch does not always land exactly in the right place. I haven’t finished this yet, so I can’t send you the photos for now. If you remind me later, I’ll be happy to send them.

I’m getting back to you a little late because I’ve been quite busy.

The operator works great, without any faults. I’m also sending you photos attached.
However, we do have one serious problem: the remote controls are practically unusable! It’s impossible to keep them with us because the gate could open accidentally without us realizing it. This is a serious danger for us, as we have a Caucasian Shepherd running around the yard, and it has already happened that a neighbour came over to say our dog was roaming the street and we had no idea. Those remotes are a real disaster. They could at least have a hold function or come in some kind of case, but there’s nothing at all. They’re truly awful remotes, as if the manufacturer had no experience with remote controls. So we’re asking whether you could contact the manufacturer about these unsuitable remotes to see if they can be replaced with remotes that prevent the button from being pressed accidentally, or returned. Thank you very much in advance for helping us with our request.

I built the gate myself. We fitted the rack perfectly—it was as easy as a kindergarten puzzle. Thumbs up!

We’ve lived in our house since 1997 and wanted to expand the parking area for two cars. I widened the original 4.5 m driveway opening to 5.4 m. Take a look at the presentation!

Demolition, excavation, and pouring the concrete for the guide rail were probably the most challenging parts of the whole renovation. Fitting the gate and guide rail itself wasn’t as difficult.

You need to allow for an electrical supply and conduit for the controls. I already had the electrical connection prepared, but the supply and conduit need to be taken into account when pouring the concrete.

We subsequently ordered a few small components for the gate stop and for securing the top of the gate at the closing end.

The wiring and programming were easy for me. After studying the instructions, I programmed it in 10 minutes. 6 remotes.

I then set the speed to maximum, since the gate weighs about 100 kg.

I also set the pedestrian opening to 1.5 m for when we go out with our bicycles.

I installed a key switch on the shorter post—thumbs up! I don’t always have to carry a remote with me.

I also installed anti-crushing sensors, and they work perfectly. A little girl was riding her bike along the street. When I backed the car out, she ran after a cat into the yard, and the sensors responded. They’re essential for a gate this long.

My family and I are delighted and enjoying the convenience. These things make life easier.

Allow me to share my experience with six months of operating the gate.

I chose a lightweight construction: a 6 m, 50 x 30 mm box section, to which a 6 m Zn C guide profile is screwed.

The rollers run smoothly, with no need for adjustment across temperatures from -15 to +35 °C. Getting the controls up and running was trouble-free,

Programming would be easier via USB, but since it only needs to be done once, the button-based method is also straightforward and sufficient.

One minor drawback is that the gate slows down unnecessarily early before reaching the end stop, and this cannot be shortened.

The remote control works reliably in an environment with minimal interference, with a range of around 150 m.

Communication, advice and delivery of the components were exemplary.

I’ll only be able to give you feedback in the spring. I haven’t built the gate yet because the weather kept me from finishing the stone wall. I’ll send a photo too; just remind me sometime in May. Regarding your second question, I had to buy additional anchors for fixing the rails. I don’t remember exactly, but I think they were M16. I was also missing wall plugs/anchors for mounting the warning light, motor, end stop, etc. So, if it’s sold as a kit, it would be good to include those anchors, with a choice of types. As for problems, I can only say that nothing serious happened. About a month after the gate was installed, one fuse blew at the customer’s premises, and I replaced it. Hello. As promised, I’m getting back to you with answers to your questions about the sliding gate I bought from you. I spent a long time looking for a sliding gate that would work well. After discussing the options and making my choice, the shipment arrived by courier. I was surprised by the 4 mm thick, 4 m long C profile—it seemed unnecessarily heavy. The gate itself, welded to your profile, weighs only 20–25 kg. That’s why I think the profile is unnecessarily heavy and expensive. You should also offer profiles for standard, lighter gates. The package was missing wall plugs and screws. I read online that steel anchors are used in drilled holes, but found that not every shop carries them, which means extra expense. If you sell kits like this, the fixings and steel anchors should be included in the price. Even so, I managed to complete the gate, and it now serves its purpose. So far, I’ve only set the rail in concrete, the day after it arrived. I haven’t got around to building the gate yet, so I haven’t tried out the components or the opener from you. Unfortunately, instant workers-in-a-can who meet deadlines and can finish a seven-metre-wide fence in four months aren’t available on the market :(
Once I’ve pushed those Mongolians to finish the fence, I’ll get to the gate.
