Programming the NICE MC424LR10 control unit with the MCA2R10 control board
We currently have these procedures available. If you need another one, let us know.
Automatic closing
By default, automatic closing after 30 seconds is set on the NICE MC424LR10 control unit with the NICE MCA2R10 controller.
You can either increase, decrease, or disable automatic closing completely.
How to increase the pause time:
- You have 10 seconds to complete each step.
- Press and hold the STOP/SET button until the L1 LED starts flashing, then release it.
- Press and hold the STOP/SET button until one of the LEDs lights up—most likely the third LED. Do not release STOP/SET.
- Continue holding STOP/SET and, at the same time, repeatedly press CLOSE to move the illuminated LED to the one corresponding to the pause time you want to set. Then release STOP/SET. Available values:
- L4 (45 seconds),
- L5 (60 seconds),
- L6 (80 seconds),
- L7 (120 seconds)
- L8 (180 seconds)
- The L1 LED will flash—wait 10 seconds and you’re done.
Note: In the same way, you can also decrease the pause time. However, in step 4, use the OPEN button to move the illuminated LED up to one of the available values by pressing it repeatedly:
- L1 (5 seconds)
- L2 (15 seconds)
- L3 (30 seconds—factory default)
How to disable automatic closing completely:
- During normal operation, the L1 LED is lit.
- Press and hold the STOP/SET button until the L1 LED starts flashing, then release it.
- Press the STOP/SET button once—the flashing frequency will change.
- Wait 10 seconds and you’re done.
- If the operation was successful, the L1 LED will no longer be lit during normal operation.
Note: Using the same procedure, you can turn automatic closing back on.
Opening and closing speed
The MC424LR10 with the MCA2R10 controller is factory-set to an opening speed of 100% and a closing speed of 60%. You can set both the opening and closing speeds to 100%.
How to increase the speed
- You have 10 seconds to complete each step.
- Press and hold the STOP/SET button until the L1 LED starts flashing, then release it.
- Press CLOSE twice; the flashing LED will move to the third position.
- Press and hold the STOP/SET button until one of the LEDs lights up—most likely the sixth LED (the currently selected value will light up; with the factory settings, this is L6).
- Continue holding STOP/SET and, at the same time, briefly press CLOSE repeatedly to move the illuminated LED to the one corresponding to the motor speed you want to set. Then release STOP/SET. Available values:
- L7 (speed: 100% opening, 80% closing),
- L8 (speed: 100% opening, 100% closing).
- The L3 LED will flash—wait 10 seconds for it to stop flashing, and you’re done.
Note: In the same way, you can also decrease the speed. However, in step 5, use the OPEN button to move the illuminated LED up to one of the available values by pressing it repeatedly:
- L1 (speed: 40% opening, 40% closing),
- L2 (speed: 60% opening, 40% closing),
- L3 (speed: 80% opening, 40% closing),
- L4 (speed: 80% opening, 60% closing),
- L5 (speed: 80% opening, 80% closing),
- L6 (speed: 100% opening, 60% closing—factory default)
Control units with a Bus-T4 connector can also be programmed from your mobile phone if you purchase a programmer NICE BIDIWIFI, or another programmer.. Programming is more convenient, and you also get access to more detailed settings.
