Controlling the gate’s electric lock with a remote control
Electric lock on the entrance gate can also be operated by the remote control for the gate opener. This feature is available on the control units for Nice Robus RBS, NICE Robus and NICE Run. Connect the OGI input on the gate opener’s control unit to the 24V electric lock using a two-wire cable..
In Level II programming, reprogram the OGI output (L4) to L4, L5, or L6.
The OGI output will then work as follows:
- L4 - Activates only on radio output no. 2, so if your remote is paired in Mode I, it will activate when you press the second button on the remote.
- L5 - Activates only on radio output no. 3; see the previous point
- L6 - Activates only on radio output no. 4; see the previous point
On the remote control, select the button you want to use to operate the electric lock, then pair it with the receiver according to the value you selected for the OGI output. For example, if you selected L5, pair the third button on the remote.
