Locinox drop bolts
Locinox gate bolts are a high-quality solution for your swing gates. Our range includes a wide selection of gate bolts, drop bolts and motorised gate bolts, which can be connected to an actuator and operated with a remote control. The bolts have an adjustable throw length.
Locinox ELECTRADROP motorised electric gate bolts are available in two versions: Fail Close and Fail Open, and both versions are available either with or without a bolt-position sensor. All models are available in silver or black:
1. Fail Close version - in the event of a power failure, the bolt remains retracted into the ground.
2. Fail Open version - in the event of a power failure, the backup batteries extend the bolt.
Versions with a bolt-position sensor can signal the bolt's position via a two-core cable. In principle, they work very much like limit switches.
All ELECTRADROP gate bolts have integrated obstacle detection, which stops the bolt from moving if it encounters resistance. They can also be released using the release key (lock and keys included) and extended manually.
The 20 mm diameter bolt extends up to 120 mm, with an adjustable throw. ELECTRADROP gate bolts are supplied with a 5 m cable and are mounted to the gate using brackets Quick Fix. The bolts can be connected to a warning light that flashes to alert people nearby when the bolt is being operated.
